Queensland Day Community Champion Award

These  awards are held annually by the South West Progress Association  to commemorate the day Queensland became an independent colony on 6 June 1859.

The awards recognise  those in the community who have provided outstanding service , Kerrie in the area of advocacy  and social justice for the families at Aspen Community Early Education Centre.

Kerrie received her well deserved Queensland Day Award from the Hon Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland and Member for Inala and Councillor Charles Strunk, Forest Lake Ward.
