Play and Care
The lower number in this room allows our Educators time to connect with each family and their child. Our Cherub Room Educators interact with the children in a respectful, responsive and nurturing way to build positive and trusting relationships. The children enjoy both indoor and outdoor educational play environments that help build physical strength and motor coordination, hand/eye and eye/foot coordination and fine and gross motor skills. You will often hear Educators and Children singing, reading, playing musical instruments, languages English and Vietnamese.
Safe Sleep
Aspen Early Childhood Educators are trained and practice safe sleep and rest practices for babies and children. Our dedicated Cherubs sleep/rest room is separate to the play spaces and considers temperature, lighting levels and ventilation to allow for a suitable and safe rest environment. The younger children are provided with a cot whilst older children are provided with a toddler sleep bed to start the transition period from the babies to the toddler room, as well as progressing from a cot to a bed. For advice or resources on Safe Sleep Practices at home, please see Red Nose Australia
